God's grace is stronger than I ever could have hoped
And now that I know that, I'm indescribably stoked
Not just forgiven, pardoned and dirty
But washed, cleansed, made new, completely!
The one locked in prison is definitely not me
I am a new creation, unbounded, free!
Whoever once looked like me, of whom I am ashamed
Is dead and stripped of power, never to have life again
Everything, everything that once blemished me
Was cut off, crucified with Jesus on that tree
Never, never, never again, no longer am I guilty
The past is forever powerless, I am new completely!
